On 18 January 2006, I was involved in an auto accident in which the driver of the other vehicle was found at fault. I immediately filed a claim with MGA Insurance, the company that covered the care, and had the damage to my vehicle assessed. Because the driver was not the owner of the car and merely a friend, MGA started making me jump through hoops and it was not until late April that received any sort of settlement offer. This offer however, was a salvage retention as they would not accept any value on my car other then the average condition NADA value. I drive a 1992 Taurus SHO, a rare car now and one with less than 80,000 miles on, making it that much more rare. MGA would accept anything I sent them whether it was the high value from NADA, classified ads from SHO enthusiast web sites, or classified ads from the Autotrader.

At this point I called an attorney and the insurance commission to express my dissatisfaction with the practices of this insurance company. Both told me they were acting within their rights and any legal action would end up costing me more than any settlement would bring me. The attorney did suggest an independent appraisal but, he said it would cost over $500 just for the actual appraisal and then added expenses for his time setting it up. This is when I found your company on the internet.

I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first. I read over all of the testimonials and decided that I was going to go ahead with this. After all, it was $200 less than what the attorney quoted me. I submitted an e-mail request and received a response that very day. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of a long ordeal with an insurance company that has no business being in operation.

Terry Fisher took my claim and immediately went to work. I do not think he had any clue what was to lie ahead. He dealt with everything like a true professional and kept me informed every single step of the way. Terry battled with sheer incompetence on the part of the adjustor that was assigned. Her lack of ability was clearly apparent when she was relieved of her duties just before the end of the claim. Terry fought his way all the way to the top of the company and refused to accept anything other than what I had requested. As of 21 August 2006, I have signed, mailed, and faxed Property Damage Release forms and agreed on a settlement amount of $2,500. The best part however, is that my title will remain clear!

This car means a lot to me as my father purchased it brand new off the lot in 1992 and has been a very special part of our family ever since. It was given to me when I graduated from the University of Florida and became the first car I every owned outright. Needless to say, I was near devastation when I was blind-sided by an individual with no idea about what was going on around him.

Terry Fisher and the entire Autoloss team made me feel like I was the only client they were representing. You all refused to rest until my claim was not only settled, but settled in the way in which I wanted it done. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to you all for the settlement of my Total Loss Claim. There exist no words that can adequately describe the work Terry and your entire team did on my behalf. I am forever grateful and will be sure to recommend Autoloss to everyone that needs it. Again, thank you so very much. May God bless each one of you as you use your talents to help those in need.
